The Training System
Firstly welcome to BOOM PT! You have made a great decision and won’t be disappointed!
I will be utilising functional movements as much as possible in the workouts. These are movements that you use everyday in one shape or form. Like squatting is similar to getting up and down out of a chair, deadlifting which imitates picking a heavy object off the ground and overhead pressing is similar to putting something away on a top shelf.
We will be using a mixture of 4 very functional and proven methods to get results.
- Aerobic conditioning (Cardio)
- Anaerobic conditioning (Interval Training)
- Olympic Lifting/Weightlifting
- Gymnastics and Bodyweight exercises
Some days will cover one, two or three different systems to give you the ultimate all round fitness experience. Every session is carefully planned to give you the best opportunity to train in different methods but also allow you to recover and excel.
I served for a number of years in the Australian Special Forces and have a wide variety of training tools available from this part of my life. I have also completed numerous courses which include Crossfit, Kettlebells, Core & Back conditioning, Strength & Conditioning, just to name a few. My aim is to continually challenge you using functional movements. To change the training stimulus daily and to push you to your limits with high intensity training that is proven to get results far above any other training style.
